About Me I'm in the Guilde of St. Cuthbert's for Southern (California) Faire, but I work with St. Michael's (BCOTS/Stoddard's specifically) for small Faires. A college student, I'm considering cutting back my courseload and getting a job if possible. Oh, yeah, and I'm a History major.

Music Poxy Boggards, Merry Wives of Windsor, anime soundtracks, Queen, just about anything else not rap. Unless said rap is in Japanese.

TV Not often. Have recently discovered an all-consuming addiction to Scrubs. Used to be a major CSI: Las Vegas fan, but I've missed at least two seasons and need to get caught up again. Occasionally I'll catch the Daily Show and/or the Colbert Report. Anything on Animal Planet rocks my brightly colored knee-high Faire socks.

Books Yes please. Just no romance novels. Oh, and friends don't let friends read Robert Jordan.

Likes My boy, tea, anime/manga, books aplenty, chocolate, animals of all sorts, dressing up and talking funny.

Dislikes People who think pirates are period. People in FOF costumes who hang out in front of the front gate before the show starts.

Hobbies Tormenting close friends, reading, aikido,

Vices Laziness and constant forgetfulness, being a nuisance, a tendency to not care.

Heroes My aunt and mother, both of which have survived Breast Cancer and continued living every day to the fullest.

Interview Tomorrow

So, I got a message yesterday while in class from somebody called Angel who was from a Petco in Riverside, inquiring about my employment status. It took a few tries, but eventually I managed to get ahold of her assistant manager and line up an interview at 3:00 tomorrow.

They need someone for their Aquatics Department. It'll be interesting because I know almost nothing about fish, but I learn fast (and they have lots of info on their site). Plus I have friends that are fish geeks *coughSaruandKKcough* who might be getting some calls if I actually get the job.

Must do fancy laundry now. Wish me luck!

Can't Make Kid's Day

Sadly, despite my attendance last year (And the year before? I can't remember.) at Kid's Day I can't make it this year. I've promised to take notes for a friend/mentor who is out from class because of a gallbladder surgery and when it comes down to it I'm not sure I trust anyone else in said class to do it for both of us.

But I will be back the rest of this weekend so...people who fear large sticks with flags on the end beware! Your nemesis is back!

Yeah, that's about all I've got.
